North Forest ISD Science program is a great scientific learning vehicle where each student every day engages in interesting, challenging experiences that result in profound learning. By using technology to enhance classroom instruction, 21st Century Learners will be reached.

We Believe:

  • Science is a way of knowing and experiencing the natural world.
  • Science is a social and intellectual endeavor that provides the foundation for lifelong decision-making, problem-solving, improved quality of life and technological advances.
  • Learning science is an active process, and all students (pre-K through 12) should have access to challenging, relevant, exciting, and content-rich science experiences.
  • Students must be involved in doing science.
  • Hands-on activities must be the cornerstone of the science classroom.

Therefore we commit:
to continuous innovative instruction and a science curriculum based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum framework.
